After her exhibition The Mood of A Woman at Café Clock Fez in 2016, Fassi self-taught artist and blogger Hajar Alami is back with an exhibition at Café Clock Marrakech from 7 October, her first exhibition in the red city. The collection includes a dozen artworks where the surreal and grotesque art forms meet. And to allow the viewers’ imagination to run wild, Hajar Alami prefers not to name the exhibition.
For Hajar Alami, art has always been a way of expression since a young age. Her style doesn’t subscribe to any conventional art forms and her touch is a spontaneous explosion of shapes and colours.
The exhibit is on display at Café Clock Marrakech from 7 October to 17 November with a vernissage on 7 October from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
