From the Marrakech medina to Los Angeles, Faysal Chadimi is back in Marrakech and, after working with artists such as Hassan Hajjaj and Magnum, ready to present his exhibition Icons of Jamaa el Fna Square at Cafe Clock.
Chadimi is a Moroccan-born film-maker/photographer from Marrakech, currently based in Los Angeles, California. Frequently coming back to visit his family and friends, Chadimi’s visits are also a way for him to keep his childhood memories alive and seek inspiration for his work. He was raised in the medina of Marrakech, a place layered with rich textures, sights, sounds and smells, a special combination that he tried to express in this collection Icons of Jamaa El Fna Square.
From 13 January to 12 March 2017 visitors are invited to view his works at Cafe Clock Marrakech from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. All works are available for purchase.
